Caregivers are screened thoroughly
They are required to upload a copy of their professional licences, background checks, proof of course completion and other relevant certificates. We check these for authenticity. For a small service fee, you can view these documents to help you make an informed decision of whom to hire.

Who We Are
ElderCare Portal was created with a single-minded mission —to help seniors find the right caregivers and care providers when and where they need care.
Currently, seniors who need care rely on traditional agencies to provide them with caregivers or hire caregivers directly without proper vetting. Where they can be expensive, especially for seniors who have no long term care insurance. Direct hire caregivers may be cheaper but many of them may not have the proper licenses, credentials,training or background clearance which could be a risk for the seniors who need care.
ElderCare Portal was conceived and created by a group of elder care professionals who have a combined 30+ years of experience in providing care to the seniors and the elderly. The concept is simple - create a website or a portal where seniors who need care (Care Seekers) can find and directly hire well-trained people to provide care (Caregivers). The Care Seekers and Caregivers are given the opportunity to interact with each other and negotiate the job details and the price through the portal. After both parties agree, the job commences.
Importantly, ElderCare Portal is designed to minimize the administrative burden of keeping track of the jobs booked by both parties including billing and invoicing the Care Seeker and paying the Caregiver will be done by ElderCare Portal. Other features such as scheduling, booking, payments tracking, reminders and alerts, credentials management are valuable ElderCare Portal features that will help both the Care Seeker and Caregiver focus on the care needs of the patient.
